The cycling of Osum is 54 km long and of medium/high difficulty level. There is a lot of variation in elevation throughout this track mainly upon the return itinerary as you go through Qafa e Qarrit. The elevation varies from 834.4 m to 1174.3 m. As soon as you get on the incline towards Vithkuq, the road veers left toward Gjançi Lake. After 3 kilometers, you leave the lake behind to enter a black pine forest. You continue through the woods until you unexpectedly get to the Lubonja Valley. This trail is partially paved. A good portion of the road goes besides the main stream of the Osum River which starts in these lands, moves by the Canyons and continues on to Berat. The segment Rehovë-Boshanj is not paved. The terrain is hilly/mountainous and offers diverse panoramic resting spots kilometer after kilometer. Along the way you can visit Tuma e Kamenicës, villages, religious objects and Gjançi Lake. We advise you use mountain or hybrid bicycle since parts of this trail are unpaved and slightly damaged.
