The cycling of Kolonja is 43 km long and its elevation ranges from 876.4 m to 1174 m above sea level. Along this trail you will be able to visit the archaeological museum “Tuma e Kamenicës” which constitutes one of the largest and most well known so far. Here you will find 400 graves, skeletal remains of 430 individuals and more than 3500 objects. The hardest segment of this itinerary is made up of the two main inclines of Qafë Qarri which paints memorable sceneries where the roads snake between forests and meadows, as well as the peaks of Mount Gramoz that tower with grandeur as you approach the plateau of Kolonja. Mount Gramoz is the tallest mountain in the south of Albania with a height of 2523 m. Once reaching Erseka you should not leave it without visiting Rehova, one of the most beautiful villages of the Korça region. This village has stopped in time, in its past glorious history that still deservedly gives it bragging rights. The cycling of this trail is of high difficulty level as a combination of the considerable distance and the slopes as you climb Qafa e Qarrit on both directions. The road is paved so any kind of bicycle is considered appropriate. This is not a very busy road but it is quite narrow (6.5 m), so we recommend you exercise caution.
